STS Technical Services is hiring a Field Service Technician III to support the M88 Family of Vehicles (FOV) and other heavy equipment maintenance in El Paso, Texas. This role is designed for skilled mechanics with a strong background in heavy equipment and track vehicle maintenance, and it offers opportunities for OCONUS deployments with assignments that may last over nine months. Key Responsibilities Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on M88 FOV and other heavy equipment. Perform inspections, diagnose issues, and execute efficient repairs to ensure vehicles remain operational. Provide detailed service documentation and communicate findings to team members and leadership. Maintain a strict adherence to safety protocols, upholding high standards of operational readiness in challenging environments. Required Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 5-10 years of field maintenance experience. Background in heavy equipment mechanics; experience with track vehicles is a plus. Willingness to deploy OCONUS for assignments that may last nine months or more.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with M88 FOV or similar military track vehicles.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or specialized training in heavy equipment mechanics are preferred.
