Field Service Technician
**Job Title: Field Service Technician** **Job Description** This position requires 50% travel across the United States and occasionally to Canada. You will be primarily responsible for conducting service calls and commissioning at client facilities, as well as providing training on our product lines. **Responsibilities** + Perform service calls and commissioning at client facilities. + Conduct training sessions on product lines in both classroom and practical environments. + Handle customer service and technical support calls. + Create and submit timely reports on work performed. + Assess client needs for spare parts and facilitate internal processes. + Perform mechanical work such as replacing bearings and changing motors. + Troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical, pneumatics, PLC, and programming issues. + Perform welding and polishing tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + 2 to 5 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical, electromechanical, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment. + Working knowledge of PLCs. + Customer service experience. + Proficiency in Windows XP and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). + Ability to formulate clear and concise reports and emails. + Ability to communicate and speak publicly for training purposes. + Ability to speak and/or write in English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Spanish and/or French language skills would be an asset. + Previous experience with food processing equipment would be an asset. + Certificates in electrical, automation, mechanical, and/or welding fabrication would be beneficial. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and energetic work environment that values continuous learning and personal growth. You will visit various client sites to perform welding and equipment repairs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $42.00/hr.
