Field Service Technician Objective
The Field Service Technician provides critical mechanical and electrical support at customer sites, performing complex troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment commissioning for sophisticated industrial machinery and processing lines.
Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and technical expertise Commission and start up new equipment installations at customer facilities Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial processing equipment Install and configure industrial machinery according to specifications Maintain detailed documentation of travel time, on-site work, and service activities Coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure project timelines are met Demonstrate strong customer focus and ownership of project outcomes Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Requirements High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in mechanics or electronics preferred 5-10 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex industrial equipment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness and ability to travel extensively (80-90% travel required) Must be available for weekend, holiday, and international travel as needed Physical ability to work with industrial equipment and tools Valid driver's license and passport#M1
