Field Service Technician (Driver)

Responsibilities:

Coordinates with dispatchers and management for all daily routes, pick up and drop
offs. Uses company truck to travel to customer sites to inspect and/or perform repairs as
needed Will need to haul 16-foot to 20-foot utility trailers from site visit to site visit Performs basic maintenance using basic hand tools Replacing lids, hammering palnuts, and replacing tires Completes service and drop off orders as assigned Provides status updates for all daily activities to management on a daily basis Records and documents all parts used and labor and restocks on inventory Keeps service truck, equipment, and all tools clean and always organized Working Conditions: (Includes Physical Demands) Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions in the Fort Worth, TX area within 120
miles radius Must be able to remain in a sitting position operating a vehicle 50% of the time The ability to record, document and communicate information and ideas so others will
understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations Frequently moves cans weighing up to 50lb for various needs such as moving cans
across customer’s yard to the trailer Capable to climb the trailer to stack multiple cans to fit on the trail Exposed to a physical environment, involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or
similar elements most of the workday Interact in a courteous manner with employees, customers and the public Promote a culture of teamwork through positive communication, leading by example Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience as a non-commercial driver, using large company pickup trucks Ability to pass a DOT physical and able to lift to 75lbs. 1-2 years Hauling 16ft-20ft utility trailer would be a huge plus Must have valid driver’s license with ability to get into company’s insurance policy Customer service oriented Good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to travel as needed (local and out of town) Experience and knowledge on the use of basic tools
