Field Service Engineer – Medical equipment

My client is a global leader in providing comprehensive solutions for rapid and reliable Urea Breath Tests used to diagnose the stomach ulcer bacterium Helicobacter pylori. Their products are used in healthcare facilities worldwide to help doctors diagnose and manage H. pylori infections more effectively.

As a Field Service Engineer you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality on-site or remote support to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

The responsibilities:

Set up and launch instruments at customer locations. Provide training for customers and distributors to help them use the new equipment. Perform routine and emergency maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs. Offer high-quality support to keep customers satisfied and their operations running smoothly. Suggest additional products and services, like maintenance contracts, to meet customer needs. Handle complaints, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Track spare parts and equipment, keep records, and prepare maintenance estimates for customer approval. Help plan and prepare for conferences.

The profile:

Strong background in mechanics, electronics, and engineering. Experience with medical analysis laboratories. Ideally, experience with medical devices and/or in vitro diagnostics. Fluency in German and English; proficiency in a third language is a plus. Skilled in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
