IGT is seeking a Field Service Technician II in the greater Las Vegas area to support our casino services team and be part of our award-winning gaming products organization. This Field Service Technician II will provide a variety of customer service duties related to the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, removal, and repair of electronic gaming machines and all related systems, equipment and signs.
 

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain IGT gaming machines, systems, and related equipment. Resolve technical issues, perform program upgrades, and set up system downloads. Support technical teams in game installations, conversions, removals, and preventive maintenance tasks. Configure game settings and test components such as pay tables, reel strips, and bonus features. Conduct testing and troubleshooting using various verification devices. Interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation to perform installations and repairs. Document all repairs, maintenance activities, machine preparation, and site setup tasks. Install, repair, and maintain data lines, fiber optics, and telephone systems. Participate in high-profile projects, including new casino openings and property expansions. Share knowledge about new products with internal teams and external customers. Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of parts and equipment. Delegate tasks effectively during system projects and ensure timely completion. Educate customers on basic game functionality to enhance user experience and satisfaction. Follow established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while performing tasks with minimal supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education required. Technical or IT-related training or education is a plus. Hands-on experience in electronics, repairs, or field service industries. Proven experience as a slot or gaming technician is desired. Solid computer skills with a focus on technical proficiency. Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical principles. Skilled in using a variety of tools with confidence and precision. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime, with occasional travel to client sites. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout a shift. Commitment to following safety protocols, policies, and procedures. Adaptability to work within different jurisdictions and collaborate with compliance officers. At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation for this position is $25/hr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
