We are looking for a Field Service Technician for our Laboratory Instruments department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, calibrating laboratory weighing equipment, including balances, centrifuges and water purification systems on customer sites in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland area whilst delivering excellent customer service.
The team consists of 3 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available full – time, on a permanent basis and based from home combined with travelling to customer sites at both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will ideally be living near the West or South of Dublin.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will be responsible for providing service and customer support during field and in-house visits
You will manage all on-site maintenance, installations, repair, calibration, diagnose errors or technical problems and determine reasonable solutions
You will produce timely and detailed service reports, issue certificate of analysis for equipment in a timely manner
Follow company’s procedures and policies as well as UKAS, INAB, ISO, GMP standards on customer sites
You will work closely with technical team and share information across the organization
Do you enjoy building relationship with customers? You will improve customer satisfaction; help maximise customer retention whilst providing excellent customer service
What will convince us
You may have experience with laboratory weighing equipment ie.: balances, centrifuges or water purification systems or other equipment, however comprehensive product training will be provided
Field service experience working in the pharmaceutical, biological, or chemical industry following GMP or ISO standards or INAB accredited laboratory in a similar role would be desirable though candidates from other industries will also be considered (manufacturing, electronics etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot, test and service technical equipment
Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
Ability to work flexibility and efficiently and to adapt quickly to changing work schedules
Willingness to travel (Ireland, Northern Ireland), (UK and Europe for trainings) and spend nights away from home
Strong customer service skills and great communication skills
Full – driving licence
