As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking a Field Service Technician in the North-West area of PUERTO RICO who performs installation, periodic maintenance, repair, and modification of equipment within assigned areas of responsibility. This position is responsible to maintain all equipment and systems to attain designated product performance metrics and ensure customer satisfaction.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Schedules and performs periodic maintenance, installation, repair, and modification of equipment within assigned areas of responsibility. Is responsible to maintain all equipment and systems to attain designated product performance metrics.
Maintains all records in accordance with regulatory requirements. This includes following the defined Complaint Handling Procedures relative to complaint identification, documentation, resolution, and escalation.
Responsible for maintaining and managing all assigned company assets that may include but are not limited to: tools, parts inventory, company vehicle, computer & accessories.
Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives as needed.
Supports sSales partners efforts to attain business objectives.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/Preferred
Professional degree: Associate Degree or BS degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Mechanics, Biomed or related field. Proven equivalent experience in the position or similar responsibilities can be considered.
Minimum Years of Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required/Preferred
LIVE IN THE NORTH-WEST AREA OF PUERTO RICO - OR WILLING TO MOVE THE NEXT 30-60 DAYS.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Field Service Technician
