Job OverviewImmediate opportunity available for a full-time, highly motivated, self-directed individual as a Field Service Technician II.
Role is home-based; individual must have their own internet service provider and cell service. Relocation assistance is available for qualified individuals. The role will be based in the Northeast Washington and Northern Idaho area. The candidate will need to travel to the Portland, OR area for during the first six months of training.
Key Job Responsibilities Primary focus is maintaining a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis. Work both independently and with others on a team. Perform routine scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs and component replacement on equipment in the shop or in the field. Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions. Prepare required documentation including work orders, parts lists, and timecards in an accurate and timely manner. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers. Clean tools, clean equipment, paint and grease equipment as needed. Prevent damage due to mistakes or carelessness to equipment or materials. Respond to all customer requests in a courteous, professional and timely manner. Any other duties as appropriate and required. Flexibility with travel based on needs and overall company objectives. $35.00 - $40.00 an hour base pay (w/ 5+ hours of projected weekly overtime pay), plus annual merit compensation review and bonus payout. Experience with LeTourneau log stackers is required. Ability to work well with minimal supervision. Knowledge of advanced trade mathematics. Ability to interpret and understand complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables; use all varieties of precision measuring instruments; and follow troubleshooting procedures. Possess a valid driver’s license or have the ability to obtain one. Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card. Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and conduct physical job requirements, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills.
