Field Service Technician - Support Engineer Level 1
Responsibilities: 1. Onsite Support: + McDonough, GA: + Provide regular onsite support for the client located in McDonough. + Perform hardware and software installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. + Address network issues, system outages, and other technical problems that require physical presence. + Conduct onsite assessments, installations, and urgent repairs that cannot be handled remotely. 2. Remote Support: + Offer remote assistance to Kampack Inc. McDonough client via phone, email, or remote desktop applications. + Manage and resolve tickets through a helpdesk system, providing timely and effective solutions. + Monitor client systems proactively to identify and resolve issues before they escalate. Time Allocation: + Onsite in McDonough, GA: + The tech's time will be spent providing onsite and or remote support in McDonough. This includes routine visits, scheduled aintenance, and emergency responses.  Additional Details: The tech will be provided with the necessary tools and resources to ensure smooth operations while onsite and during travel.  Communication and Coverage Expectations: + Regular communication with clients to update them on issue status, scheduled maintenance, and any potential system upgrades or changes. + Coordination with the Tekscape support team to escalate issues as necessary and ensure comprehensive support coverage. + “Off Hours” Coverage needs: From time-to-time projects and/or site outages may require support from the field technician outside of “normal” business hours typically M-F 9am-5pm.
