The Field Service Technician Trainee is responsible for supporting customers in regard to installing hardware, troubleshooting hardware and website navigation for PivoTrac products to new and existing customers. The Field Service Technician Trainee will work closely with operations to resolve any grower satisfaction issues.
Essential Functions:
Answer customer questions regarding installation, troubleshooting and website navigation while in fieldProgram modems and keep and maintain database of devicesThis position reports to Supervisor, Field Operations and SafetyThis role requires up to (75%) Daily travelFlexible schedule with short noticeOther Important Details about the Role:
Must have the ability and personality to calmly deal with and de-escalate tense situations in the field and on the phoneEffectively communicate technical solutions, ideas, and questionsMust see things through to completionBe a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervisionMust be a team player and work well with others to promote communication across the teamRequired Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
High School diploma or GED equivalent or 1+ years of experienceAbility to learn from on-the-job trainingThe ability to solve problems and make decisions effectivelyValid U.S. driver’s licenseHighly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
Farm backgroundPrevious experience in Ag Irrigation servicePrevious experience in Precision Ag IndustryElectrical experience and knowledge#LI-RA2
