We are looking for a Field Services Operations Manager with a main responsibility in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the field services team. This role involves coordinating and delivering field service operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining operational efficiency.

 

The location for this position is in Budaörs, Budapest. In accordance with our hybrid work model, you will be able to work partially remotely.

 

Your role and responsibilities

 

As a Field Services Operations Manager, you will focus on these responsibilities:

 

Leads and plans the activities of field service operations teams, ensuring effective coordination of field service activities and aligning activities with field service objectives and customer requirements. Manages and develops a field service team, planning activities, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and training for professional growth. Implements and ensures adherence to operational strategies, policies and processes to enhance service delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in operational processes. Develops and optimizes service operations to ensure the aspired lead time, quality and efficiency. Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support operational efficiency and collaboration. Fosters strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring services meet their expectations. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies in all field service activities. Accountable for delivery within a wider operational area, ensuring performance and alignment with business goals.

 

Knowledge and Experience: Utilizes robust understanding of field service operations and management to exceed objectives. Innovation and Change:  Champions practical innovation within field service operations, applying best practices and guiding the implementation of process improvements. Teamwork and Leadership: Leads by example, managing team efforts in line with organizational objectives and fostering professional growth. Communication and Networking: Liaises with a broader range of internal and external stakeholders. Manages customer and contractor relationships.

 

Requirements for the position

 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Previous experience in the marine or energy industry is an advantage. Proven experience in field service management or a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using field service management software and other relevant tools. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in field service operations. Fluency in English and Hungarian is required. Willingness to travel as required.
