Job Summary
States Manufacturing is seeking a Field Services Project Manager with Technical Industry Expertise. The ideal candidate would have experience in project management, project planning, and customer service. Extensive knowledge of the electrical power distribution industry is preferred. Ability to work in a team environment, providing coordination and support for projects being installed and commissioned in the field at our customer locations.
This is a full-time position. Typical working hours will be Monday – Friday with hours ranging from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Overtime will be available. Some travel will be required in order to complete site visits. (Estimated to be <35%).
Qualifications
Job Duties and Responsibilities
+ Conduct Site Visits to verify equipment installation and commissioning work are aligned to Sales documents and expected Scope of Work.
+ Verifies customer site requirements align with equipment designs and expected scope of projects.
+ Validation of equipment status in the field, by engaging with our customers to determine accurate details for Field Service work.
+ Involved with project review and documentation for factory inspection, quality inspection and internal and customer-based testing.
+ Supporting the internal PMO team with streamlined transfer of information to customers and contractors
+ Coordinate delivery and documentation of projects to end user sites.
+ Provide the Field Service Team with status and timeline data to coordinate commissioning of equipment and assurance for accurate installation of equipment by customers or contractors.
Required Skills and Abilities
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience.
+ Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution Equipment required.
+ Experience with SharePoint
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
+ Ability to pass background and drug test prior to employment.
+ Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks.
+ Superior problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
+ This position requires the ability to sit, and bend or stand for extended periods of time.
+ Travel to customer locations up to 35%
