Field Services Representative
Aplin has partnered with a growing engineering consulting firm specializing in municipal and private industry services for water, wastewater, and reuse water infrastructure. With exciting new projects on the horizon, they are looking for a dedicated and detail-orientedĀ Field Services RepresentativeĀ to join them.

As a Field Services Representative, you will be the eyes and ears on construction sites, ensuring that projects are progressing according to plan. Your primary responsibilities will include documenting on-site progress, dealing with contractors, reviewing drawings, and reporting back to the office team daily with photos and detailed reports.

The office is based in Edmonton and projects are typically 2-4 hours outside of the city. This role would require a rotation of 10 days on and 4 days off. Accommodation will be provided while on-site, along with per diems for food and mileage reimbursement.

Perks & Benefits:Be part of a growing company with exciting new projects.Competitive salary with reimbursement for travel expenses.Work with a dynamic team in a supportive environment.Opportunities for career development and professional growth.Responsibilities:Document daily on-site progress, including taking photographs and writing detailed reports.Liaise with contractors to ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.Review drawings and provide on-site field reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.Communicate any discrepancies or concerns with the office team, providing timely updates and recommendations.Conduct resident field reviews, ensuring compliance with municipal infrastructure standards.Provide daily feedback and reports to the office team, ensuring transparency and effective communication.Maintain a proactive approach, identifying potential issues before they become problems.Qualifications:Experience in resident field reviews, particularly in municipal infrastructure.Previous experience in water, wastewater, and reuse water projects is highly desirable.Civil engineering background or Engineering Technologist Diploma is a strong asset.Experience working on First Nations projects is an added benefit.Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.Proactive with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of accountability.Must have own vehicle; reimbursement for mileage provided.Willingness to travel frequently and be on-site at construction projects.
