The Field Specialist provides offshore and onshore support to customers and Baker Hughes (BH) for installation, maintenance, repair, operation and decommissioning of Subsea equipment and services.

As a  Field Services Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Having the ability to follow and execute Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project related Procedures (PRP)Controlling, function testing, repairing and reporting of necessary maintenance of delivered or rented equipmentControlling Inventory of Baker Hughes related equipment offshorePerforming all Pressure testing in line with installation and maintenance proceduresAssisting and performing preparation of work, status or problem reports to customer or projectAssisting in planning of shipping Baker Hughes equipment from offshore or customer siteAssisting and performing Failure investigations and review of NPT occurrencesAssisting and performing stack-up testing and participate in preparation of Installation procedures and Stack-up Testing programsComplying with & promoting Company and Regulatory HSE requirements and procedures as well as Quality Management systemsEnsuring the Daily Operation Report is updated and handover to relevant offshore personnelWorking onshore when requested by Field Service SupervisorAssisting with preparation of Maintenance procedures, if requested

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Petroleum Engineering/ CommunicationsHave 1 -5 years of relevant experienceHave good knowledge of appropriate Baker Hughes products and equipmentHave working Proficiency in written & spoken EnglishHave knowledge of Drilling and Production processes related to Baker Hughes tools Have completed approved Safety Training as requiredHave a proactive approach to allocated tasks, taking ownership of all aspects of the job: Equipment; Spares; Reviewing job history / lessons learned; Able to follow Procedures e.g. Operating Service Procedures (OSP) and Project Related Procedures (PRP)Have the skill and confidence to perform Troubleshooting and Repair workHave the skill at discussing technical problems and solutions with the CustomerHave good knowledge about Subsea Operations including X-Trees, Wellhead, Connection systems and control systems
