Supervisor – Field Service

This position can be based anywhere in the United States, although Kansas City metro area preferred. It's a heavy travel position and our teams travel 180+ days out of the year as they respond to catastrophic events.

We are currently searching for a Restoration Project Supervisor (Restoration Supervisor) to engage in fire, mold, and water restoration and cleanup in our Large Loss Division. This is an opportunity to lead a team of temporary laborers and technicians in projects, which includes paperwork, job assignments, recognizing hazards, and expressing concerns to those in charge. This is a labor-intensive position and a very rewarding career!

What you'll do: 

You are the backbone of our large loss commercial restoration project work.You'll set up work areas, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are available and ready to use (this includes making sure equipment is running and any malfunctions are reported).You'll inspect the work area for any and all hazards, or those that could present during the shift, complete necessary forms with all hazards, and share hazards to employees entering the worksite.You'll photo document job progress and manage the work that needs to be completed, as well as jump in and do the work with your team when necessary.Perform content inventory and complete moisture mapping and monitoring throughout the jobs.We clean up after major hurricanes and floods, so you'll extract water from flooded structures and remove damaged materials such as flooring and drywall.

What you bring:

The ability to talk with customers, manage temporary laborers, and complete simple mathematical calculations and paperwork.Must be dependable and reliable, as well as flexible, enjoying work that frequently changes.Must be able to pass drug testing and a criminal background check.Be on call 24x7.Proficiency in the use of various software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Drive)Experience as a Restoration Technician (Restoration Tech) a plusThe licensing/registration and certification requirements for this position are, but are not limited to:Required: Valid State Driver’s License, prefer the ability to drive a vehicle with GW of 10,001 pounds.Be able to pass DOT physical and follow all DOT regulations.Maintain and/or Obtain OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training and IICRC CertificationCertified on the operation of Forklifts and other lift equipment preferred but not required


Required Travel:

In this role, you are expected to travel at least 200 days per year and can be gone for long periods of time (up to 90 days). Our team responds to large, complex losses caused by catastrophic events, so the clean-up time is long.
