Apple Roofing is currently looking for a Field Superintendent to join our team.

The Field Superintendent will be able to work independently, under the direction of their supervisor. The candidate must be able to multi-task as he/she may be overseeing multiple jobs per day. The candidate should have a working knowledge of general construction practices, more specifically residential and commercial roofing. Communication skills will be a key factor. The candidate should also have adequate computer skills. The candidate will be able to present him/herself in a respectful manner to customers, subcontracted crews, and co-workers.

Responsibilities Perform supervisory functions and also engage in the same roofing trade work as the workers supervised Provide timely and quality installation of all assigned roofing projects in the field Check in with homeowners/clients about work completion Take before and after photos of projects Check material and counts Oversee final quality of work Pick up and return leftover material after work is completed Final clean up of projects Oversee construction project and work sites Ensure all staff have basic understanding of safety procedures, safety rules, and safety requirements Conduct regular field visits to supervise workers Resolve customer complaints using effective communication skills
