Field Support Representative (FSR)
**Position is contingent upon contract award** Amentum is seeking **Field Support Representatives** of all experience levels in support of Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Ground Sensors (PM GS). This project will provide PM FPS and PM GS a multitude of product support activities to include spares, warehousing/kitting management, maintenance, transportation, shipping, fielding, equipment operator training, contractor equipment operators, field support representatives (FSRs), systems sustainment and design engineering, and supplier or total asset visibility management of Integrated Base Defense (IBD) and Force Protection (FP) family of systems (FOS). Work locations include Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Syria, Djibouti, Korea & Germany **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** + Install, repair, and service electronic equipment, such as computers, radar, missile control, avionics, and communications, in field installations. + Converse with customer or supervisor to plan layout of equipment. + Read and study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures. + Install or oversee installation of equipment according to manufacturer's specifications. + Operate system to demonstrate equipment and to analyze malfunctions. + Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools. + Instruct and direct workers in servicing and repairing equipment; Instruct customers on operation of equipment. + Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance. + May instruct workers in electronic theory. + May supervise workers in testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance. + May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements. + Responsible for the consulting, engineering, and operations activities performed at a particular customer location. + Identify changes in telecommunications, computer, and systems technology and interpret their meaning to senior management and the customer. + Provide technical assistance to facilitate planning, design, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability. + Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, production activities and for necessary support resources. + Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities for a group or section and for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new and revised applications systems and programs. + Assist in projecting software and hardware requirements. + Assign personnel to various projects and direct their activities; review and evaluate their work and prepare performance reports. + Confer with and advise subordinates on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods. + Consult with personnel in other information systems sections to coordinate activities. + Prepare activity and progress reports regarding the activities at a particular customer site. + Confer and consult with customer personnel regarding performance and scheduling issues. + Other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications:** + Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a SECRET Clearance. + Must have a high school diploma. _For Intermediate level role:_ + Must have a minimum of 2 years providing embedded technical support, maintenance, repairs, expertise, and advise to Army tactical units. _For Journeyman level role:_ + Must have a minimum of 5 years providing embedded technical support, maintenance, repairs, expertise, and advise to Army tactical units. _For Senior level role:_ + Must have a minimum of 8 years providing embedded technical support, maintenance, repairs, expertise, and advise to Army tactical units. _For Super level role:_ + Must have a minimum of 8 years experience and the demonstrated ability to successfully install, train, maintain, troubleshoot, field and remove at least 3 FPS/GS systems. A Super FSR is expected to be able to lead a wide variety or teams, including operating independently and as an FSR team lead for complex tasks. Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
