The Field Support Specialist is one of a team of FST Specialists who travel to retail stores to assist and train local store management and personnel to establish, operate and maintain Camping World standards for safety, merchandising efficiency and ethics. This includes execution of planograms and store layout and assisting store management in training local personnel to achieve success.
What You'll Do:
Collaborates with other FST Team members to execute store layout initiatives and other projects including planograms and resets, accurately and in a timely manner.
Performs detailed recovery and review of planogram integrity.
Trains local retail associates to learn and understand Camping World products, memberships and services, as well as Camping World sales and merchandising practices
Assists with the installation of store signage and assembly of merchandise, fixtures, and warehouse racking as well as stocking merchandise according to time, safety and merchandising standards
Participates in completion of quarterly and annual inventory counts.
Communicates proactively with the FST Manager to report on project status and issues and recommends necessary changes or solutions to overcome obstacles.
Demonstrates superior customer service by prioritizing attention to customers questions and concerns.
Develops a thorough understanding of day-to-day store operations.
Travels frequently with-in and out of state.
Works a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
Cross trains to perform other duties as needed
What You'll Need to Have for the Role:
Bachelor’s degree with at least one year retail experience, or 2-4 years’ experience in retail environment.
Previous Planogram experience preferred.
Experience in a retail environment installing, uninstalling and displaying retail
Strong organizational skills necessary to execute merchandising directives with proven knowledge of standards and practices, including initiative to recommend changes when necessary.
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills required to work with other team members and consult with store managers and local personnel
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of company standards for safe practices and procedures.
Clean driver's license/ability to be insured
Planogram experience is a bonus
RV experience is a bonus

Physical Requirements:
Frequently required stand for prolonged periods, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch.
Frequently required to lift or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
