For our Structural Heart Division, we are recruiting a Field Technical Engineer.
This is a Technical Sales Support position where the individual is responsible for servicing the current customer base with high-level technical service on clinical procedures and ABBOTT products. The role involves effectively addressing customer needs regarding SH procedures and technical support, with an in-depth understanding of our product lines, playing a key role in supporting the sales team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Provide high-quality technical and clinical application support to the customer base.
+ Actively collaborate with the sales team to ensure efficient sales support to SH procedures, allowing more selling time to achieve sales quotas per plan.
+ Maintain business operations following corporate policies regarding pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting, and quality guidelines.
+ Follow best practice guidelines before and after sales support.
+ Maintain thorough knowledge/awareness of competitive products and business strategies.
+ Represent the company professionally and with the highest integrity.
+ Comply with the H.C.P. guidelines.
Your Profile:
+ Preferred: BS/BA in life sciences.
+ Professional selling skills with at least 3 years of Medical Clinical Support experience.
+ Strong clinical orientation: training clinicians and providing technical assistance during procedures, including troubleshooting.
+ Versatile: able to influence a variety of clinician personality types.
+ Strong analytical skills: able to identify and resolve issues and adapt best practices across institutions.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and obtain results.
+ Ability to work with 2D visualization to construct mental 3D device positions.
+ Willingness to travel extensively (>50% of the time) and work long hours in a cath lab (in lead) several days per week.
+ Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.
+ Dutch, French, and English language skills are essential.
+ Proven track record in the clinical introduction of sophisticated therapeutic, procedure-enabling devices.
+ Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery; familiarity with echocardiography or other indirect imaging is strongly preferred.
