As an integral member of Agilent's Chemistries and Supplies Product Specialist team, you will use your expertise in preparative HPLC and technical sales to drive growth of our prep LC column portfolio in key markets including Pharmaceutical, CROs, and Life Science Research.
Key responsibilities include:
Increasing connect and attach rate of Agilent’s prep columns resulting in revenue growth in the US & Canada.
Provides pre- and post-sales application consulting to the preparative LC customer.
Coordinates and drives interactions with the appropriate business functions within Agilent.
Identifies thought leaders and builds strong relationships that lead to new business opportunities. Presents preparative workflow solutions that meet customers' current and future needs.
Maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and trends and communicates to all applicable entities within Agilent.
Where applicable, helps negotiate and close strategic business opportunities.
Provides VOC feedback to the business unit to assist in product development and positioning.
Drive new product introduction to achieve ramp to volume goals.
Develops strong working relationships with CMS Account Managers to drive higher connect rate.
In conjunction with CSD Marketing Program Manager, develops and helps implement marketing plans to drive growth of our small molecule prep portfolio.
Stays current with competitive activities, including new product introductions, product positioning and other marketing/sales events. Communicates as necessary with the product business unit and field sales organization.

QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field required.
4+ years relevant work experience required. This includes practical laboratory experience utilizing preparative LC systems.
Strong understanding of LC separation principles, including scaling from analytical to prep.
Prior life science sales and/or application experience required.
Strong verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to work independently.
Available for a flexible work schedule and up to 50% business travel in the US and Canada, including overnight.
