We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team in the Plymouth, MI office. As a member of our team, you will perform construction materials testing and submit electronic reports via a computer tablet program. Works collaboratively with other project team members to achieve project deliverables.
Responsibilities: Conducts quality control testing of various construction materials on construction sites. Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. periodically. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job duties.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in a related field is preferred. Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable. Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload. Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally. ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are highly desired.
