We specialize in Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) that provide advanced capabilities to serve the defense industry. THE WORK
- Unloading & Inventory: Unload trucks, inventory equipment, and stage items for installation.
- Equipment Installation: Position and install UPS units, PDU units, and other critical infrastructure.
- Cabling & Connections: Route and connect server room cables, blue power cables, and install circuit breakers. Perform rack connections and disk deployments as specified (e.g., 5A1, 2A3, 3A1, etc.).
- Mechanical & Electrical Work: Install and maintain mechanical systems such as air conditioning ductwork, highbay ducting, and GPS antennas. Handle electrical tasks including UPS power-up, circuit breaker installation, and electrical lockout/tagout.
- System Configuration: Complete system integrations including IOS desk configurations, EPO systems, and power verification. Install and configure network components and perform system checks.
- Documentation & Reporting: Mark equipment positions on the floor, complete debriefing tasks, and provide detailed reports on installation progress and issues.

You will be supporting the Sub-Assembly Area for the RMS Orlando Location. Our team is composed of 12 assemblers with electrical and mechanical experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.

- Overseas and Domestic travel required 50% of the time

- Passport Required
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical system installation and troubleshooting.

- Experience with cabling, circuit breakers, and power systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.

- Familiarity with safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
