Position Summary

The Field Technician should possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette. The Field Technician will be responsible for offering support to all associates and systems in the company. The chosen candidate will have above average ability to interpret, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

Main Responsibility

Provide both on site and remote field level IT technical support for our districts across Ontario.  Assist in the planning and execution of technical projects as required.

Must be able to communicate with individuals and professionals at all levels of the organization including executives in clear EnglishMust have good organizational skills and be able to work independentlyMust have basic project management skills and ability to work with external contractorsMust have to ability to research and figure out their own solutionsTechnical level support for IOS and Android devices (Primarily phones)Technical level support for Microsoft O365 EnvironmentTechnical level support for Windows Operating SystemsTechnical level support to install and setup network printersStrong understanding of Ethernet cabling types, and their terminationFamiliarity with Cisco IOS and Meraki ProductsFamiliarity with Citrix environmentsFamiliarity with fiber optic cablingFamiliarity with Ubiquiti Products and their Unifi OS.Familiarity with Audio/Visual equipment such as Video Teleconferencing devices, projectors, and any presentation hardware

Requirements
