Field Technician
**Job Title: Field Technician** **Job Description** This role involves traveling throughout the state of Indiana (and parts of Illinois and Ohio) to maintain, install, calibrate, and service flow meters. The field engineer will install flow meters inside the top portion of manholes to collect data on the amount of flow passing through pipes and streams. This data will be used for documentation by municipalities and large industries. The individual will use their mechanical and electrical experience to perform these tasks. **Responsibilities** + Install flow meters inside the top portion of manholes. + Collect data on the amount of flow passing through pipes and streams. + Use mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot and calibrate flow meters. + Document data for municipalities and large industries. **Essential Skills** + Experience with environmental, mechanical, and electrical systems. + Knowledge of flow meters and their applications. + Flexibility to work both inside and outside in various weather conditions. + Willingness to travel (previous travel experience preferred). + Mechanical and electrical aptitude from school, internships, or previous positions. + Ability to work and communicate effectively with a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical experience + Previous flow meter experience. **If you are interested in the opportunity, please apply!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
