Job Title: Field Technician
Job Description

Contractors will visit current customer sites to install CO2 monitors. This involves light low voltage work similar to installing fire alarms. The position is available due to new regulations on CO2. The role involves installing monitors directly to the systems using CAT 5 cabling. This work will be done in commercial areas such as restaurants and gas stations, not residential areas.

ResponsibilitiesInstall CO2 monitors at various commercial customer sites.Use CAT 5 cabling for installation.Communicate politely with customers and explain the purpose of the visit.Document installations using a smartphone for GPS and taking pictures.Use Aerotek expenses to document mileage appropriately for payout.Ensure all work is documented and reported at the end of each day.Essential Skills2 years of experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work.Experience with low voltage or light electrical installations.Ability to use a smartphone for GPS and documentation.Experience driving for work and reliable transportation for up to 400 miles a week.Possession of necessary tools and a ladder for the job.Ability to work independently and honestly document work.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo specific education or certification is required.Handy DIY skills are sufficient to learn the installation process quickly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work is conducted in various customer sites, predominantly commercial areas. The role requires independence and self-management, with only two days of training provided. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm, totaling 40 hours per week. Contractors need to meet at the shop before heading out to customer sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
