Description Position at Michigan CAT

A Field Technician at Michigan CAT is the onsite Service Specialist to support customers at their work location. A Field Technician would perform maintenance and repair on customer fleet at customer sites, to get them continually producing output to the customers' demands.  

Responsibilities 

As a Field Technician your responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

Diagnose problems with equipment/enginesPerform all repairs associated with the diagnosis that is possible out in the fieldLocate and order parts as required. On occasions, this may require you to coordinate with parts-drivers to get the parts you need to your work siteWrite up detailed service reports for both internal and external requirementsMaintain own equipmentBuilding productive customer relationships to benefit all involved

Qualifications 

To qualify, you should have: 

Proven track record of ability to perform and fix equipment/engines in a timely manner, to the quality and standard requiredThe ability to self-motivate and self-manage timeA record of promptness to get to and from work on timeStrong ability to communicate and listen, understanding customer needs and performing the work necessaryStrong writing skills to complete detailed service reportsA Current DOT Medical CardA Current Class A CDLAll MacAllister Machinery companies are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, including Disabled and Veteran applicants.
