Tool Crib Associate

Job Summary:

The Tool Crib Associate inventories, stores, and distributes hand tools and other equipment. Maintains tool functionality and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.  Load and unload trailer.  Operate wire stripper.  Pull tool order list and pack for shipping.  Have knowledge and process of Milwaukee Red Tote program.

Essential Functions:

The ability to unload mechanical and electrical trailers upon return from jobs/projectsThe ability to keep inventory of material on shelves/racksThe ability to inventory material that is returned from jobs/projectsThe ability to “tool up” jobs including but not limited to: filling gang boxes with tools, mounting threaders, chop saws, and bench grinders to tablesReport workplace hazards associated with equipment being used, workplace injuries and/or illness and workplace near miss incidents immediately to direct supervisorThe ability to lift up to 50 poundsThe ability to stand for up to 8 hours per dayThe ability to operate a forkliftKnowledge of job site projects on tool orders
