Field Trainer

What you’ll deliver:

Training delivery

Train proactively and coach field operatives in the Training Center and/or on site Conduct trainings to develop the competences of non-technical people who need to understand technical topics in their workSeek and experiment new learning methods in the trainingsCan deliver most sessions effectively, manages the training environment well, communicates objectives clearly, encourages participants and ensures learning outcomes are achieved.

Training planning and recording

Participate in the training planning and training catalogue creationHave own trainings created and all training records (participants, results, materials) updated in Workday Learning.Incorporating feedback from stakeholders outside the training environments into training delivery / training planning

Localization of technical documents and training materials

Localize global instructions and training content to match the local needs (incl. translation, proof-reading)Maintain and proof-read the translation of Containment and Retrofit letters and product related documentation (AM, AS, ASG)

Communication

Ensure changes to codes, methods, products and training materials are communicated to the Field operatives and part-time Field Trainers.Take part in field reference groups to gather and share information 

Competence development

Support competence development surveys, assessments and other ways to find out the competence development needsSupport and actively participate in new employee induction, site inspections and auditsBe a role model for service mindsetUses feedback forms and test scores to assess and improve delivery quality

Safety and assessment

Be a role model for safetyParticipate in the incident or severe near miss investigations together with the Safety ManagerIs capable to observe risky methods in use and able to act accordingly to remove the riskObserve and evaluate safety and method passport assessments

Own professional development

Regularly attend Train-the-Trainer courses on new products, solutions and methods organized by global/area functionsHave up-to-date knowledge on new products, solutions and methods as well as safety risks and recent incidents on own knowledge areaDevelop own training skills and knowledge on new learning methodsDo commissioning and troubleshooting in the field to keep own knowledge and skills in a good levelBe active in the professional networks for best practice sharing and latest developments at KONE and in the industrySupport school collaboration together with HR e.g. train students and teachers, present field operatives’ work to students looking for career opportunitiesBe an active participant in the trainer’s communitiesUnderstand business, have knowledge of what KONE and the field operatives need from the trainingEmbrace feedback by being open to it, while offer honest feedback to the participant and their line manager, along with suggestions for development

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineeringNew grads are welcome and open for 1-3 year experience in metal industry (e.g. engineering, equipment installation or maintenance, technical training etc.)Understanding of data connectivity in the building and to the cloudStrong skills in using most current technologyFluent in Thai and good English skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsWilling to travelFlexibilitySafety and customer service mindset
