Filler Operator 3rd Shift
**Position Overview:** Under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor, the Filler Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned production filler equipment, associated process systems, and packaging machinery. This role involves gaining proficiency in sterilization, operation, and sanitation responsibilities while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. **Job Responsibilities:** + Adhere to safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). + Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure food safety, product quality, and adherence to customer standards and specifications. + Develop proficiency in Sterilize-in-Place (SIP), operation, and/or Clean-in-Place (CIP) of assigned filler. + Perform basic cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and preventative maintenance tasks. + Actively participate in startup, troubleshooting, adjustment, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment. Clear jams and report malfunctions to the Business Lead/Supervisor as necessary. + Execute changeovers, complete line clears, and accurately set up packaging and coding for the next item. + Report out-of-standard/specification results to the Quality Department and Business Unit Lead/Supervisor. + Report unsafe conditions or compliance issues to the Business Unit Lead/Supervisor. + Complete handwritten instructions and online documentation, including Quality and Critical Control Point (CCP) checks, accurately and at the required frequencies. + Maintain accurate and detailed work logs (including Factory MES data collection) and inventory records. + Monitor and review inventory and production levels to achieve efficient operating conditions. + Maintain assigned work area and production environment in a clean and orderly condition, completing environmental cleaning requirements as necessary. + Actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings. + Safely operate forklifts as needed to supply the assigned work area with necessary production materials. + Complete required training/eLearning, including but not limited to New Employee Onboarding (NEO), Lean Overview, Aseptic Workshop, Chemical Safety, Flow Diagram, etc. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications:** + 6 months of previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or assembly line production. + Strong organizational and observational skills with attention to detail. + Basic mathematical calculation skills. + Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision. + Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that respects and accepts diversity. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1-3 years of previous experience in filling, packaging, or processing production, preferably in the food, food processing, high-speed packaging, or Form-Fill-Seal (FFS) industries. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Previous forklift experience. + Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. + Proficiency in using a personal computer (PC) and related software, ideally Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Technical knowledge of aseptic filling/processing. **Hours:** 3rd shift Full benefits and other perks **Pay Details:** $19.00 to $20.00 per hour Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
