An accountant at KONE performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. We are looking for an accountant with curiosity to learn, grow and develop within a fast-paced organization.
Main job responsibilities:
Support Chief Accountant/Finance Controller in assigned task in the area of P2P (Purchase to Pay), intercompany transactions and taxesIndependently deal with problems within the assigned areaFocus on constant improvement of the processesActive participation in external audit process and local reporting requirementsDeal with stakeholders across KONE within assigned processes and issues resolutionBe part of the team in implementing new processes and digital/system solutionsSupport business colleagues and cooperate with them on dedicated projectsCooperate with local banks and KONE TreasuryProfessional Requirements:
3 to 5 years of professional experienceFluency in English (both written and verbal)Knowledge of the IFRS and Serbian accounting and tax lawProficient user of MS Office tools (especially Excel, e.g., pivot)University degree in accounting, finance, economics or in a relevant field (preferred, not a prerequisite)SAP knowledge and experience is an advantageYour working style:
