Position Summary:
Selected interns will be assigned to a team within our Finance & Accounting organization during the course of a 10-week summer program from June through mid-August. The position will own a mix of recurring and non-recurring work designed to provide a wider scope of the assigned organization as well as a focus on technical skill development.
This position will be assigned to a reporting manager and will offer a level of visibility with the Senior Leadership teams. There will also be significant points of interaction across the Finance & Accounting organizations (Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Financial Operations, Tax, & Internal Audit).
Responsibilities:
Provide reporting, analytics, coordination of projects and other miscellaneous tasks as deemed by Senior Leadership team.Collaborate with assigned reporting manager to execute a specific intern project to be presented to members of the executive team at the end of the program.Hands on work with various financial, reporting, and business intelligence systems such as (OneStream, Qlik, Concur, Oracle, etc).Opportunity to participate in both Indirect and Direct tax inflight data analysis and process projects.Opportunity to test internal controls to support financial reporting by the SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controlsOpportunity to assist in journal entry and account reconciliation processes.Qualifications:
Current Junior or Senior with 3.0 GPA or higherField of study in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business ManagementMicrosoft Office proficientMust be located in Charlotte, NC or surrounding areas to come in office with a hybrid work schedule#LI-GL1
