Finance Acquisition Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support on the financial aspects of acquiring all types of project funding. Employ logical thinking and effective budgeting practices to develop high-quality budget proposals that are approved by donors and deliver fair benefits to the organization. Deliver comprehensive information to the Compliance team, Project team, Zones, and other stakeholders from proposal design to project start-up activities.Strategy Development & Planning Support the development of acquisition strategy on financial aspects and contribute on regular evaluation process.Contribute to the growth of grant and locally restricted funding acquisition through initiatives to improve budgeting proposal system.Conduct the capacity building of local partners and improve the overall business practise regarding local partnering.Resource Acquisition & Management/ Engagement/Project Management Prepare budget and provide technical advice on finance and budgeting aspect during the process of the Go/No-Go Decision, project proposal development, agreement development and agreement amendment.Support in Donor’s requirement preparation.Provide analysis on effective Cost Structure allocation from Ministry Support Costs to project Budget.Conduct the analysis of funding availability to support the cash management of project fundingCoordinate closely with Donor agencies and stakeholders (Support Officers/SOs).Capacity Building/ Technical worksConduct capacity building to finance and non-finance to ensure smooth handover to the implementing team.Educate proposal team on the financial strategy and practices.Accountability & Quality AssuranceApply the fair-based support cost share (or other alternative method) in the budgeting of project proposal.Provide insights on the availability of match fund to cover unallowable cost and contribution costConduct smooth handover to the compliance team and respective zones.Active involvement in planning and budgeting process.Support Blocked Party Screening (BPS) performance review.Support the process for financial audit/expenditure verification for projects and Yayasan and monitor the follow up actions on the audit findings.Support effective project financial operations to promote cost-efficiency, higher yield to ministry and to align with partnership/donor/statutory requirement, policies and standard.Support the financial data management, reporting and analytics and become the strategic business partner who is responsive to organisational needs. Analyse the data & information and provide insights to key stakeholders.Support the action and insights to simplify the business process and provide technical guidance to Zonal/Area Pogram (AP) and project teams.Support updating risk mapping profiles for all projects and provide solution to minimize risk.Support workload analysis of project staff and staff support to project, provide technical advises on resource integration options to meet requirements of donor and on recovery of indirect and field ministry service costs for grants and private funding.Liaise and collaborate with other finance team, cross-functional units, zones, and teams of relevant World Vision entities.Management & LeadershipGrow in Christian faith and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments, and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit, department, and zones.Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication and relationship with internal staff and external parties.Manage all risks related to contractual and project acquisition according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks.Model accountability, integrity and faithfulness, demonstrating that We are Stewards and We are Partners.Complete all other tasks required by the supervisor.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and/or has course certificate in accounting/finance and/or has required professional experience.At least 1 year experience in financial management, accounting or auditing, preferably gained in humanitarian sector.Professional Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.Ability to travel within country or internationally.Excellent working knowledge of GAAP.Good working knowledge of computerized accounting system.Experience with planning, forecasting, and acquisition process.Knowledge of government/donor grant regulations and reporting requirements preferred.Ability to solve complex problems and to exercise independent judgement.ONLY a shortlist of applicants will be contacted.WVI implements a Safeguarding Policy as a form of our commitment to protect children and adult beneficiaries.
