If you are a Financial Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our Ava, MO office, you will have the chance to work with a diverse team and contribute to the success of our plant’s financial and operational results.  Come work in a small personal setting with big company benefits.

AS A FINANCIAL ANALYST YOU WILL:

Develop, validate, analyze, and report the plant’s financial and operational results.Update financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.Prepare and analyze financial, operational, and statistical reports on the performance of various business units and departments.Assist in the development of new spreadsheets as needed.Answer questions regarding financial reports used to support the plant.Capture KPIs to track the progress of actuals/forecast/budget goals.Work cross-functionally to improve areas that are not achieving objectives.Perform analysis and investigations, truly understand the business activities behind the results.Teamwork – Actively participate in the team and provide feedback and solutions; listen and respond constructively to others' concerns.Alignment to Values - Consistently demonstrate values.Assist as primary backup for all payroll functions during the payroll coordinator’s PTO.Carry out other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Required Education: Preferred bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or associate degree with experience.Prior experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Office environment onsite required, not available for remote or hybrid.General working hours are M-F 7:30 am-4:00 pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch.  Limited overtime may be required at times.Physical Activity: The analyst will be required to perform prolonged periods of work on a computer. Should be able to lift 30 lbs.Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Self-starterOracle and Kronos experience a plusStrong Excel skills experienced with complex formulas and pivot tablesGeneral understanding of accruals and GAAPPreferred bachelor’s degree in finance/accountingPrevious finance work experience a plus
