Operations Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to Our Electrification Business.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforming analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposing improvement actions.•\tExecuting benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB; and working with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends.•\tPreparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit.•\tSupporting the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.•\tPerforming analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast & propose improvement actions.•\tPerforming month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.•\tWorks with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance and identify trends.

Qualifications for the role

\t4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis.\tEducation: Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA Inter/ MBA Finance preferred.\tStrong analytical and problem solving skills. \tHands on experience in SAP FICO modules preferred\tAbility to work with diverse teams across different countries.
