Finance Analyst
Reporting to the Trade Investment Manager, you will take ownership of various projects and work closely with the business on daily tasks.
Your responsibilities will include improving routines related to actuals, closing, developing tools, and supporting Finance Transformation projects.
You will be joining a successful and passionate team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You will constantly look for improvement activities within France.
As Finance Operations Analyst, you will work on:
Accrual Management:
Ensure that the balance sheet accruals are accurate, and the P&L statement reflects the correct costs. Provide insights into investments, including identifying potential over/under accruals and visibility of spending across customers and countries. Communicate the impacts, root causes, and action plans promptly. Manage end-to-end customer contracts (from pricing to rebates), ensuring correct system input and regular review for completeness.Invoice Management:
Approve, validate, and reconcile customer invoices against the correct accruals. Ensure all invoices include proper proof of performance and are validated. Highlight incorrect invoices and recover any improper cash deductions.Pricing Management:
Ensure all customer agreements are accurately reflected in the system, and invoices reflect the correct prices. Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) teams to ensure promotional pricing is uploaded correctly into the system.Pricing dispute management:
Improve invoice accuracy by identifying root causes, implementing preventative pricing checks, and adjusting processes. Minimize aged volume on the balance sheet and ensure disputes are promptly recognized in the P&L.Quantity Dispute Management:
Work with customer service and logistics teams to resolve quantity disputes efficiently. Collaborate with these teams to identify root causes and support solution implementation.Balance Sheet Cleanliness
-Ensure the balance sheet is maintained accurately and reflects the current financial status.Qualifications:
Master’s degree, preferably in Finance. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus. Fluent in both written and spoken English and French. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Location(s)Paris
