Hybrid working - Minimum 3 days a week in the office at Cannock!

DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Finance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

\n\nPerform accounting processes in scope for the respective site/customer like month end, reconciliations (i.e.Open Book Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue BS Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting etc\nOpen book equalisations\nRegular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes\nBuild deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making\nEffectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope\nAdherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production at site/customer level\nParticipate in process improvement workshops and activity\nProvide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations\nDeliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management\nSupport change programmes\n\n

Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager

\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nStrong excel, pivot tables, V Look ups and formulas as a minimum\nClear, effective communicator \nAbility to work well in a team\n1-2 years finance experience minimum\nCustomer-facing experience \nKnowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements\nExperience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable\n\n
