We are currently seeking a competent and experienced Finance Analyst to support the timely preparation and submission of all financial and regulatory reports and will be responsible for visualizing company operating results in terms of costs, budgets, and trends and making recommendations to Finance management. With a focus on driving financial improvement within the organization, the senior finance analyst will interpret and direct the accounting policies and procedures to align with the established financial strategy.

What Part Will You Play?

Prepare reports and analyses for the management, to assist the proper evaluation of the financial performance of the businessSupport the proactive development of financial analytic materials and methodologiesPrepare regulatory reports towards Bank of Greece or any other authoritiesParticipate in the preparation of budget and 5-year forecasts, supporting the accurate, reliable and timely production of information, through the respective data basesKnowledge in management of large databases (SQL, Oracle etc). Extract and manipulate large volume of dataConduct studies, productivity analyses, and surveys to identify areas for financial improvementAnalyse business performance / results, with focus on Financial Project Management, providing feedback to senior managementExplain variations to budgets and forecasts in management reports, including future/potential exposures to the organizationAnalyse data for internal purposes and reviews the reliability and integrity of financial informationAd hoc projects as required

What We're Looking For

University Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is desirableFive (5) plus years of experience in financial analysis or related discipline in a similar role. Experience within the Fintech/payments industry would be beneficialKnowledge of databases and data mining and analysis software (e.g. SQL)Knowledge of using data visualization tools (e.g.  Oracle BI)Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Especially with reference to MS Excel, knowledge at an advanced level is necessaryKnowledge of ERP systems will be considered a plusExcellent command of the Greek/ English language (both written and verbally)Exposure to fast-changing environments and/ or start-ups is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, multiple demands and changeStrong problem-solving and skills and hands on approachHighly organized, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitaskA keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
