Wells Fargo Expense Analytics and Allocation team within Corporate Finance is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented, finance professional to support expense allocations and billing activities as well as the detailed reporting of enterprise-wide service relationships, expenses allocations & other related activities.
The Expense Analytics & Allocation team (EAA) is focused on the transformation of Wells Fargo expense management reporting and legal entity cost allocations through the development of Enterprise Costing Standards; deploying a more consistent & efficient costing process; and enabling more effective utilization of cost data, including enhanced transparency and management insights.
The Analyst will work closely with both Enterprise Analytics & Allocations team members and Business Finance teams as well as key stakeholders for Domestic Costing. The successful candidate will have accounting and performance reporting experience with proven success in a fast paced and matrixed environment. In addition, the candidate will be expected to create mutually beneficial relationships with the other divisions within Enterprise Costing team.
Specifically, the Financial Analyst role will:
Manage the Reference Data Mapping which includes Hierarchy updates, Model and Recovery mappings across different horizontalsEnsure that correct allocation methodologies are updated on a quarterly basis across horizontalsDetermine true ups required for any Under/over recovery for individual horizontalsPrepare reports as per business demandWork in a small dedicated team but with reach into other stakeholder groupsPartner with Business Finance teams across different horizontals to ensure that the teams have a strong sense of teamwork to accomplish the goals of Enterprise Analytics & Allocations. Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support various business line questions related to cost development activitiesProvide support to the business with various issue management related tasks or activitiesMaintain a balance between operational efficiency, effectiveness and risk mitigation in order to achieve goalsContribute towards Global projects as part of Transformation agenda set by the EAA teamRequired Qualifications
10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics or ReportingDesired Qualifications
Qualified BCom/BBA/MBA/CA Inter or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or ReportingAbility to perform effectively in a matrixed organizationStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal); ability to concisely articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.Demonstrated capability to confidently raise issues, escalate early, and engage in constructive credible challenge independently.Take accountability of timely submission of deliverables and critical thinking.Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesOther Technical Qualifications
