Radius is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team. 

Responsibilities day to day will be…

 

Own the payroll analysis processes within Fuel and Central Cost finance, covering the majority of our colleagues across the group.   Own the control and reconciliation of the payroll related balance sheet, ensuring best practice and bringing more payroll’s into the centralised process.Opportunity to redevelop and implement new ways of working, to maximise efficiency and quality of reporting. Manage and develop a team of 1 trainee management accountant to deliver high quality performance.Working with stakeholders to build budget plans, review headcount and structure, and help the business take insight and action from their numbers. Ensuring a quality year end audit pack is delivered to the auditors at the end of the financial year.Develop relationships with other finance stakeholders and deliver insight on the key cost driver of salaries to enable these stakeholders to improve performance. You will be a champion of finance processes and systems providing proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies and adherence to Group policySupport the senior finance management team with ad hoc projects, and the budgeting process.

 

Experience / qualifications required:

 

Nearly or Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience of working in a Finance related roleStrong excel and modelling skills, preferably advanced levelExperience with data preparation and transformation on large datasetsAbility to build a strong rapport with members of the Finance Team and across the organisationExperience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant informationAble to work under pressure and effectively prioritise to achieve strict deadlines and targetsStrong commercial awareness Excellent attention to detailExperience of working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial business desirable
