Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business.The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business area in Colombia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPerforming analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposing improvement actions.•\tExecuting benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB; and working with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends.•\tPreparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit.•\tSupporting the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tDegree in Accounting or a related field. \tYou have at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, with a strong understanding of key business metrics.\tYou are highly skilled in financial reporting and business indicators such as revenue, orders, margins, cash flow, and backlog, within finance-related roles.\tHighly adept in advanced Excel and Power BI; SAP experience is desirable.\tYou are passionate about proactivity, commitment, and analytical thinking.\tYou are at ease communicating in advanced English.
