Finance Analyst
Finance Analyst At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team. **What your background should look like:** Responsibilities: • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Excel based reporting in various areas of concentration for plant operations such as: Recovery, Scrap, Quality Holds. • Develop detailed cost center spending forecast and budget for Queretaro Plant. • Analyze weekly and monthly variances to forecast. • Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures and perform testing to validate compliance. • Participate in Daily Plant Operational meeting and Kaizen events as needed. • Understand key cost streams and identify and drive cost saving opportunities. • Assist in the month end close process including the preparation of journal entries and analysis of results. • Partner with Plant Operations team on strategic initiatives; provide decision support activities on key business cases and projects. • Provide direct support to the Plant Controller and work closely with Plant Operations, Supply, Materials and Divisional Finance.
