Who will you be working with? This role reports to the Finance Manager. the role of the Finance Analyst - Controllership is to assist the Finance Controllership team with matters of regulatory financial compliance, co-ordinate with offshore service providers regarding AP and AR processes, and support senior management and finance leadership with monitoring, analysing, and reporting on financial processes and controls across the Group.

Where is the position located? This is Permanent full time position at Rydalmere, NSW.

What will your typical day look like?

Assist Finance Controllership team during statutory audit and consolidation.

Co-ordinate with the finance managers and controllers of all Wabtec entities on matters of financial compliance.

Perform annual reconciliation and monthly lodgement of payroll taxes.

Prepare bi-annual reporting for the purpose of Payment Time Reporting Scheme.

Compile and analyse information for the purpose of performing ABS Surveys.

Assist Finance Controllership team in monitoring and analysing various financial processes across different entities.

Assist Finance Manager and the team in matters such as designing and implementation of controls across different processes.

Review payment batches for the purpose of invoice payments for WAU and FTAL.

Assist RMS TCS team with their bank reconciliation and AP during the month-end closing process and any other tasks as assigned by your manager on ad-hoc basis.

Liaise with offshore service providers such as TCS and Genpact to provide support and training in the matters of AP, AR and R2R.

Assist with billing and cash collection for entities that are still in-house.

Assist with customer creation, database maintenance, relationship management and credit limits for SAGE entities.

Assist controllership team in treasury related tasks as directed by your manager.

What do we want to know about you?

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting / Commerce or in the process of attaining relevant tertiary qualifications with a recognized university.

An understanding / experience in an accounting analysis and/or audit would be beneficial.

Intermediate skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

A proven background of process management and offshoring is preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts with others.

Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Effective organizational, time management, documentation, and multi-tasking skills.
