FINANCE ANALYST II - MFG & OPERATIONS At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team. **What your background should look like:** Location: Shanghai South plant Role Statement This role will provide financial analysis for plant, not limited to conversion cost, manufacture costing, inventory & Fixed assets management. Support plant GM and controller on financial reporting and internal control. Key Responsibilities/Objectives • Work closely with GL team to monitor monthly closing activities to ensure accurate and timely entry booking • Responsible for monthly conversion cost forecast and budget, consolidate and analysis the variance, upload financial result to SAC platform • Proactively partner with plant operation functions to understand the key drivers of their expense and help plant to drive the productivity • Maintain manufacture standard cost and support plant annual recosting procedures • In charge of plant Inventory reserve calculate and analysis, provide reserve report to supply chain leader, support inventory physical count annually • Support plant functions prepare CER, Capex tracking and support FA physical count • Support plant internal control for IA, external audit, compliance, tax…… Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge: • Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics • Highly motivated, achievement driven and able to work to tight deadlines • Good Communication skill with cross functions • 2 years above experience in manufacturing company, SAP experience is preferred **Competencies** Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork Location: SHANGHAI, SH, CN, 200233 City: SHANGHAI State: SH Country/Region: CN Travel: Less than 10% Requisition ID: 129932 Alternative Locations: Function: Finance & Accounting TE Connectivity and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and operating units (collectively, the "Company") is committed to providing a work environment that prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability or any other characteristics protected by applicable law or regulation.
