FINANCE ANALYST II - PLANT OPERATIONS

JOB SUMMARY

 

Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the records of fixed assets and spare parts. Track the compilation CIP into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed. Review and update the detailed schedule of CER, CAPEX file, fixed assets, and accumulated depreciation. Provide forecast and check for depreciation change and bridge for the reason. Conduct analysis related to fixed assets and spare parts as requested by management. Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations. Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets. Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets. Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets. Identify and mitigate compliance risks for both Fixed Assets and Spare Parts Management and control. Analyze and improve processes and systems for both Fixed Assets and Spare Parts Management and control. Support on Internal Control and Compliance responsibilities on plant level. Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the auditors in their inquiries. Represent the company during any audits by a government that involve fixed assets.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Obtained Bachelor's Degree in Accounting At least 3 years of exposure in SAP Possess strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Has Strong knowledge and minimum of 3 years- experience in Fixed Assets Management and General Ledger in the same industry (Mnufacturing Industry - Plant Operations) Possess strong proficiency in Excel. Strong ability to give attention to detail and to perform multiple tasks at the same time. With strong communication and analytical skills Has strong ability to work individually or in a team setting. With excellent interpersonal and time management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines Job Overview Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments.
