Finance Analyst – KAM Team

A Finance Analyst in the KAM Team plays a critical role in managing supplier financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency in procurement and accounts payable functions. This role involves analyzing price differences, reconciling supplier accounts, proactively resolving overdue invoices, and supporting strategic financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for Requestors, Buyers, Suppliers, Strategic Procurement, Finance Analysts, and other business partners to ensure seamless financial operations.

· Invoice & PO Management: Handle Purchase Orders corrections, change requests, and process supplier invoices/credit notes while challenging coding and authorization discrepancies.

· Price Difference & Overdue Prevention: Analyze price variances at the product level, identify root causes, and take proactive actions to prevent invoices from becoming overdue.

· Supplier Account Reconciliation: Monitor supplier balances, reconcile statements, manage advance payments and escalations.

· Netting & Financial Reporting: Participate in the netting process and generate reports on supplier balance trends, ensuring accurate financial tracking.

· Issue Resolution & Compliance: Guide business in resolving open queries & holds, tax issues, and payment escalations while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

· Urgent Payment & Refund Processing: Handle urgent payment requests, process refunds, and correct AP entries based on ticket requests.

· Month-End Closing : Support month-end closing procedures, and run detailed ME related reports.

· Training & Development: Mentor new hires and contribute to process improvements by identifying areas for optimization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strong understanding of financial processes within a Shared Service Center.

· Advanced analytical skills to assess supplier financial data and drive strategic decision-making.

· Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle Financials preferred) and proficiency in MS Excel.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize urgent issues, and collaborate across different business functions.

· Strong command of written and spoken English for clear and effective communication.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills to address complex financial matters.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

· Previous experience in financial analysis, accounts payable, or procurement-related roles.
