Finance Analyst – Leasing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst – Leasing to join our team in Derby.
This unique and broad role gives the holder the opportunity to manage the financial statements of the Rolls-Royce Leasing Ltd company. This involves both insightful management reporting to the Services Engine Programmes and accurate effective statutory reporting involving direct interaction with our external auditors. In addition to reporting, this role helps with the key forecasts utilised for 5YP and the Quarterly forecasts.
The Rolls-Royce Leasing Finance Analyst works closely both within the Rolls-Royce Leasing Business to provide council and financial advice and with the Widebody Engine programmes to ensure that the recharges are appropriately understood. In addition, the analyst leads interactions with both the European and Indian Finance Service Centres to ensure that the IFRS16 postings, Accounts Payable / Receivable and Finance Accounting & Reporting are correct for the business.

What you will be doing
• Statutory reporting – Provide necessary support to facilitate the statutory audit and reporting processes.
• Management reporting – Help lead the monthly management reporting within RR Leasing and also effectively communicate the recharges into the widebody engine programmes.
• Lead the Balance Sheet review and reconciliation process for RR Leasing.
• Support the stewardship agenda within RR Leasing, leading the implementation of the Spreadsheet Control policy and identifying appropriate internal controls within RR Leasing’s processes.
• Lead the relationship with the IFSC to ensure that the IFRS 16 inputs to the CoStar system are reported accurately.
• Support the RR Leasing business with ad-hoc business case analysis.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all Rolls Royce Leasing financial How-to-Guides.
• Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of all Rolls Royce Leasing financial models.
