Finance Analyst - Turkiye
**Role purpose** Reporting into the Turkey Finance Manager and Controls lead, the key purpose of this role is to: Support the Turkey Finance Manager and be responsible for general accounting and finance duties including: - Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts - Assisting with month end and year end closes - Assisting with budget/forecast preparation - Assisting with group reportings - Preparation of periodic financial analysis **Key accountabilities** + Review and management reporting of financial and management accounts + Responsible for managing the year end statutory audit and ad hoc audit queries + Statutory Central Bank reporting and relationship + Manage Internal audit and response + Contribute to identify efficiencies, savings, process improvements + Produce month-end management report + Assist with board meetings/ JV partners information requests + Assist with new projects – eg. WBNs + Assist with budget, quarterly forecast and weekly flash preparation + PL and BS reviews + Recommend process Improvements + Assist with Operations/Management queries + Assist with external Audit relationship + Assist with Taxation, E-Ledger and E-Invoice procedures + Assist with the equivalent tasks as above and participate in/manage Region wide projects – e.g. Petty cash procedures, Banking facilities, Compliance/Internal Audit matters etc. **Role-specific experience and skills** + Minimum Educational degree: Business Administration or Economy Graduate + Relevant experience in Financial Control, Regulatory and Audit framework + Good commercial skills – ability to be a business partner and contribute to commercial business success + SAP Knowledge would be preferrable + Good excel skills **General experience and personal qualities** Leadership + Self-aware, open-minded with a high degree of personal and professional integrity Commercial acumen + Strong commercial acumen and ability to apply solid commercial judgment in their area of expertise Strong relationships + The ability to build and manage relationships, developing trust and credibility with customers, partners, peers, teams, internal and external stakeholders Performance and results focus + A strong record of performance delivery in their area of expertise, through increased sales, cost management , performance against KPIs and good P&L management + The ability to analyse issues, develop solutions and influence key decisions, balancing risk with results + Drive customer focus in everything we do to gain and retain high quality customers for the long term success of Travelex
