Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and business support Manager to join our team in Athens, Greece. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our organization's financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving financial strategy to support our business goals.
Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing daily operations and mentoring team membersDevelop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's objectivesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsManage budgeting processes and conduct regular financial forecastingEnsure compliance with Greek financial regulations and tax lawsOversee cash flow management and optimize working capitalCollaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for decision-makingImplement and maintain robust internal financial controlsManage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutionsIdentify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvementsOversee financial systems and recommend upgrades as necessaryPrevious experience in hospitality would be a strong assetQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plusMinimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting roleStrong knowledge of Greek financial regulations and tax lawsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approachProven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysisAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting systemsStrong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teamsExcellent communication skills in both Greek and EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExperience with ERP systems and financial modelingDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
