Hours:       37.5 hours per week - Mon – Thu 8:00am – 4.45pm, Fri 8:00am – 12:30pm

SUMMARY

RTI Advanced Forming, Ltd., a subsidiary of Howmet, is a specialist manufacturer of niche titanium products for the Aerospace industry and is based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Apprentice to join the Finance team in a role that will provide you with great development prospects. We are offering a talented, motivated individual the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of financial operations within the manufacturing industry. You will support the finance team in the day to day running of the department, whilst also studying towards the AAT qualification. A training plan will be put in place and funded as part of this role, so you will benefit from on the job learning and support from the wider finance team, whilst gaining your professional qualifications. 

MAIN DUTIES, OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in financial record keeping and data entry Daily cash application for all payments and receipts Weekly bank reconciliations to be performed Posting of weekly payroll journals Preparation of prepayment schedules Provide admin support to the finance team as necessary Assist in the management of the internal audit testing & reporting and manage a range of admin and compliance tasks Assist in monthly/annual stocktakes, inclusive but not limited to stores, tooling and inventory Carry out any additional reasonable requests made by the business within the individual’s capabilities and possessing the necessary experience and training
